This success can be linked to increased clinical acceptance starting with 7 podium presentations in the first quarter alone, our continuing international sales expansion as we enter new markets in Asia and Latin America, and the growing buzz from preliminary results of the NIH-sponsored study* comparing PEM and MR - with PEM demonstrating 6% higher specificity and 26% higher PPV than breast MR. Three key preliminary results from an NIH-sponsored prospective multi-site study of 388 women have been released pending publication of the study's manuscript. First, PEM demonstrated 6% greater specificity than MR, reducing false positives. Second, PEM and MR had comparably high sensitivity and third, PEM was found to have 26% higher PPV than MR, potentially reducing unnecessary biopsies. See video of an interview with the study P.I.
