Naviscan high-resolution PET scanner Reimbursement Primer

The Naviscan high-resolution PET scanner is a high spatial resolution, dedicated PET scanner. The scanner has Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance as a PET scanner. Per payor policies, PEM (Breast PET) is indicated for the following*:

• Initial staging for disease of breast cancer after histological confirmation
• Staging for recurrence of breast cancer
• Monitoring of disease during therapy (e.g., radiation and/or chemotherapy)
• PEM-Guided biopsy
