PEM-MRI-Study

To learn more about the results, join us at RSNA on November 29th, 2010 at 9:25 AM in the Arie Crown
Theater for a podium presentation by Wendie Berg, MD, PhD. or visit us at booth 1211 at the Lakeside Center.

In an ACRIN 6666 study published in the AJR January 2010 issue, 16% of women were unable to tolerate a breast MRI exam. This finding, in conjunction with the results of the PEM study, demonstrate that PEM is an effective alternative to breast MRI and may play a role in reducing costly and painful biopsies.
